About The Position

Sage Connections, a woman- and therapist-owned company, is seeking a full-time W-2 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 school-based services for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers support for both experienced and new school nurses, with a team dedicated to helping specialists thrive. The position involves providing 1:1 support for a 6-year-old female student in New Bedford, working Monday through Friday for 35 hours per week, from ASAP until June 2027, with potential for renewal.

Requirements

• Current and LPN or RN License active in Massachusetts
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
• Compassionate and student-centered

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric or school-based experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage student health records and medication administration
• Support chronic health condition management (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies)
• Coordinate with parents, school staff, and outside providers as needed
• Maintain documentation and comply with health-related regulations
• Participate in IEP or 504 Plan meetings when relevant
