About The Position

Delivers a comprehensive school health services program for all Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) students. Leads the school's health services program. Collaborates with others in the school to ensure that health services are coordinated and integrated with the school program. Provides health consultation to the principal and health services to employees for acute illness and injuries. Performs other duties as assigned. This is a 12-month position supporting the Southwest Infants and Toddlers Program.

Requirements

Must possess a valid Maryland State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Must possess a valid Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) School Nurse certification.
Must have current CPR/AED certification.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Experience in pediatrics, community health, or school nursing preferred.
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with infants and toddlers.
Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish).
