About The Position

CCRES is seeking a caring and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide health services to students in school settings. Working under the supervision of a Certified School Nurse, the LPN supports student health, safety, and access to education. The daily rate for a School Nurse - LPN is $200 per day. This position follows the student academic calendar year.

Requirements

Current Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing
Strong communication and organizational skills
PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
PA Department of Education FBI Clearance
Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
Valid PA License as a Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Professional Liability Insurance ($1-3 million coverage)

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health needs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document student health status and nursing services provided
Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and emergencies
Assist with the implementation of Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs), 504 Plans, and IEP-related health services
Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs
Maintain accurate, confidential health records
Support health screenings, immunization compliance, and other school health initiatives
Collaborate with educational teams to support student success
