About The Position
Elementary schools are seeking dynamic, engaging, kind, and patient applicants to serve as lunch monitors. Monitors are part of the school community and build relationships with students during an important social part of the school day. The role includes supervising children in the cafeteria and at recess, assisting students as needed, and supporting safe, productive play and conflict resolution. Responsibilities
- Supervise children in the cafeteria, greet them upon arrival, and assist as needed.
- Supervise students at recess with the monitor team to ensure safety indoors and outdoors.
- Assist with productive play and problem solving for conflict resolution.
