About The Position

This position is an anticipated vacancy, expected to be available by 09/08/2026. The start date is contingent on the current incumbent vacating the position. The hired individual may begin as a Substitute Lunch Monitor if the position is not available at the start of the school year. This role involves supervising students during lunch, distributing lunch, cleaning the classroom, and escorting students to recess. The position is 3 hours per day and reports to the Principal/Head of School. It is subject to the City of Boston residency requirement.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of up to 30 students
• Distribution of lunch inside the classroom
• General clean up of the classroom after lunch
• Escorting the students to recess
• Other duties as requested by the Principal
