About The Position

The Dream Opportunity is a global nonprofit dedicated to helping students from underserved communities explore career pathways, develop professional skills, and gain exposure to opportunities they might not otherwise know exist. They partner with leading global companies to connect students with career exposure and professional development opportunities. As they expand their college and career exploration programming, they are seeking a School Implementation & Education Specialist to work directly with students, educators, and partner schools. This role is highly school-facing and student-facing, ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people, supporting educators, facilitating engaging sessions, and helping schools successfully implement educational technology and programming. The specialist will introduce students and educators to the college and career exploration platform, facilitate structured student sessions, observe student engagement, and assist teachers and counselors in incorporating the platform into their programming. Experience in education, teaching, school programming, youth development, college and career readiness, EdTech implementation, training, or facilitation is ideal for this role.

Requirements

  • Experience working with middle or high school students.
  • Comfortable facilitating a classroom or group of students.
  • Clear and confident communication with both students and adults.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with young people.
  • Comfortable learning and demonstrating technology.
  • Ability to explain technology in a simple, approachable way.
  • Highly organized, dependable, responsive, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to observe student behavior and provide thoughtful, actionable feedback.
  • Comfortable adapting when classroom or school environments change unexpectedly.
  • Enjoy collaborating with teachers, counselors, administrators, and internal teams.
  • Passionate about expanding access to college and career opportunities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in teaching, counseling, youth programming, college and career readiness, school implementation, EdTech, instructional technology, student success, or education program management is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of our college and career exploration platform at partner schools.
  • Facilitate engaging sessions with high school students.
  • Guide students through structured career and college exploration activities.
  • Help students navigate and use the platform successfully.
  • Train teachers, counselors, administrators, and other school staff on how to use the platform.
  • Help educators incorporate the platform into existing college and career readiness programming.
  • Observe student engagement and identify areas where students may become confused, disengaged, or need additional support.
  • Gather structured feedback from students and educators.
  • Communicate observations and implementation feedback to our product and education teams.
  • Support both in-person and virtual school programming.
  • Build positive relationships with students, teachers, counselors, and school administrators.
  • Help ensure every school receives a consistent, engaging, and high-quality experience.
