About The Position

We are seeking dependable, friendly, and motivated part-time School Food Service Workers to join the school food service team. This position helps provide students with nutritious meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming cafeteria environment. The role is suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced setting, works well with others, and takes pride in providing excellent service to students and staff.

This is a part-time, school-based position, typically three to five hours per day, with a day-shift schedule.

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to obtain required documentation and clearances to work in a school setting.

Nice To Haves

• Basic math and cash-handling skills preferred.
• Previous food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping ingredients and assembling meals.
• Serve meals to students in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and perform cashier duties.
• Stock, organize, and rotate food and supplies.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen, serving, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with cafeteria staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
