About The Position

The Budd Group is hiring a part-time School Floor Care Custodian to help keep a school facility clean and safe for students and staff. The role is on-site on or near Mathis Ferry Road in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and pays $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible evening shift options of 3 PM–7 PM, 4 PM–8 PM, or 5 PM–9 PM. The position focuses on floor care, including operating and maintaining floor-care equipment and performing floor and carpet cleaning tasks. The custodian may also assist the general custodial team. Requirements

Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work active, hands-on shifts.
Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience with floor-care equipment, such as buffers and scrubbers.
Prior experience as a Floor Technician, janitor, or custodian.

Responsibilities

Operate floor-care equipment, including buffers, burnishers, and auto-scrubbers.
Perform floor stripping, waxing, and buffing, as well as deep carpet cleaning.
Maintain floor-care equipment in clean, working order.
Assist the general custodial team in keeping the school environment welcoming.
