About The Position

Children of America (COA) is seeking passionate and dedicated School Directors to lead our talented teams of educators and execute our educational programming for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. As a School Director, you will be responsible for daily management tasks, working directly under senior leadership. COA fosters a supportive company culture that encourages growth and values the unique attributes, perspectives, and backgrounds of its employees. Our programs include Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before and After Care, and Summer Camp.

Requirements

Minimum CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Minimum of 2–4 years of leadership experience.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed childcare facility.
Advanced knowledge in early childhood education.
Flexible in challenging situations.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to build strong relationships.
Commitment to professional development.
Effective decision-making skills.
Proficient in the use of technology, including industry applications and MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must meet state requirements.
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability and willingness to drive and/or travel up to 10% of the time for training, professional development, and organizational meetings.

Continuously pursue enrollment growth through the execution of the COA Experience.
Continuously pursue quality care through the execution of our curriculum.
Manage all day-to-day operations utilizing COA's processes, procedures, and policies.
Meet all COA performance standards in terms of operations and education as outlined in your annual budget.
