About The Position

Children of America (COA) is seeking a School Director to lead a staff of talented educators and execute educational programming for all programs, from Infant care through School Age. This role involves daily management tasks and working directly under senior leadership in a supportive environment that encourages growth and sharing of passion for early childhood education. COA values diversity and invites employees to bring their unique attributes, perspectives, and backgrounds to the team. The program serves preschool children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, with offerings including Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before and After Care, and Summer Camp.

Requirements

Minimum CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience
Minimum of 4 years experience in a licensed childcare facility
Advanced knowledge in early childhood education
Flexible in challenging situations
Strong organizational skills
Ability to build strong relationships
Commitment to professional development
Effective decision-making skills
Proficient in the use of technology, including industry applications and MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must meet state requirements
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability and willingness to drive and/or travel up to 10% of the time for training, professional development, and organizational meetings

Continuously pursue quality care through the execution of our curriculum.
Manage all day-to-day operations utilizing COA's processes, procedures, and policies.
Meet all COA performance standards in terms of operations and education as outlined in your annual budget.
