About The Position
The Goddard School at 376 South Randolphville Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 is seeking a passionate and proactive School Director to oversee daily operations, support a team of educators, and ensure a high-quality learning environment for children and families. The Director upholds brand, licensing, regulatory, and policy standards; leads staff development; implements the Wonder of Learning® proprietary curriculum; and builds strong relationships with families and the community. The Wonder of Learning® program is designed to embrace how children learn through play and curiosity, make learning enjoyable, and instill skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and social-emotional relationships. The Director also manages the school’s budget, enrollment, and resources, and maintains a safe, clean, and prepared environment for children, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine love for children and commitment to high-quality education.
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience, and credential requirements.

- Hire, train, supervise, and support staff to build a positive, collaborative team.
- Deliver the proprietary Wonder of Learning® program to spark curiosity, support individual growth, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

- Manage the budget, enrollment, and resources for operational success.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and prepared environment for children, staff, and visitors.
