SCHOOL CUSTODIAN FULL TIME EVENING (10AM-7PM)
About The Position
Hampton Academy provides individualized, trauma-focused support and education for children and adolescents ages 6 and older. Our educational program is designed for students who suffer from anxiety, school avoidance, poor social skills, mood disorders and other socio-emotional concerns that interrupt their ability to fully function in a traditional academic setting. Hampton Academy helps students with attaining their goal of returning back to their sending district. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Evening School Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures is an asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- A Highschool Diploma or GED
- 1 Year of Cleaning experience at a school
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Maintain floors through various methods such as buffing, waxing, and stripping to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Provide porter services by transporting items as required within the facility.
