Requirements

Experience working with students in a counseling setting in grades K-8 desired.
Degree in education and/or counseling highly preferred.
Experience working with online tools (Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Microsoft Forms, Excel)
Must be able to ascend and descend stairs independently without assistance

Responsibilities

Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.
Serve Title I eligible students on the school campus through individual counseling and/or group counseling
