This position supports the Pueblo D60 Counselor Corps Grant and is funded by the Colorado Department of Education through the 2026-2027 academic/fiscal year. The primary responsibility and goals of this position are to increase the district's graduation rate and increase the percentage of students who appropriately prepare for, apply to, and continue into postsecondary education. This position will also support work-based learning awareness, education, and opportunities. Additionally, the position will utilize leadership, advocacy, and collaboration to promote student success through providing preventative services, and to respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development for all students.
