About The Position
DS Bus Lines Inc. is seeking School Bus Drivers who will be responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. This role involves using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and ensuring their vehicle remains within DOT regulations. This is an opportunity for a legacy-driven second career, with a starting compensation of $19.83/hr (Post-Licensing). They offer a "Zero-Cost" Professional Entry, covering all licensing fees and providing paid professional training at $15.00/hr while coaching through the CDL process. Signing bonuses of $4,000 for current CDL holders with P&S endorsements and $2,000 for new entrants are available. The role offers a predictable weekday schedule with no nights, no weekends, and summers off, emphasizing mission-critical work ensuring student safety and a predictable schedule. Requirements
- Must obtain a DMV permit.
- Must complete fully paid professional training for the CDL process.
- Current CDL holders with P&S endorsements are eligible for a $4,000 signing bonus.
