About The Position

Transit Team, Inc. is hiring a School Bus Driver in Richfield, Minnesota. The driver transports students safely and on time between pickup points, school, and activities, while ensuring child safety and compliance with DOT regulations. The role includes inspecting and maintaining the vehicle, planning efficient routes, keeping records, and communicating professionally with students, parents, and staff. Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, with full benefits and annual increases. Paid training is provided. Military applicants are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Class B CDL or higher.
• Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• DOT medical certification.
• Clean driving record.
• Dependable.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Conduct child checks after each route.
• Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes.
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle.
• Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records.
• Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner.
• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
