About The Position

Local Motion is seeking School Bus Drivers to safely transport students to and from school and events. This role offers competitive pay, paid training for those without a CDL, and a consistent weekday schedule. We are looking for individuals who value purpose and community service, including retirees, former professionals, veterans, and active community members.

Requirements

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Valid DOT medical card—or able to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies
