About The Position

Stock Transportation Ltd., a subsidiary of Summit School Services, operates over 2,800 school buses serving 35+ school districts in Ontario and Alberta. We are seeking a School Bus Driver for our Sunderland, ON location. This position is ideal for retirees, stay-at-home parents, or individuals seeking part-time, seasonal work with a stable income. Drivers work mornings and afternoons, Monday through Friday, during the school year, enjoying evenings, weekends, and holidays off. Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
At least two years of driving experience.
A current driver's abstract.
A clean criminal background check.
A valid provincial Class G Driver’s License or Higher (or ability to obtain).
Vulnerable Sector Screening Test.

Valid B-License Holders (eligible for sign-on bonus).

Responsibilities

Transport students safely and on time to and from school.
Operate a school bus in accordance with company policies and traffic laws.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Attend safety meetings and employee engagement events.
Be available for extra hours, charters, extra work service, shuttles, and errands as needed.
