About The Position

Illinois Central School Bus is hiring School Bus Drivers in Carol Stream, Illinois, to safely transport children to and from school and serve the surrounding communities. Drivers help create a safe, welcoming experience for students and support them as they board and exit the bus. No prior experience is necessary. Route hours are guaranteed for four hours per day while school is in session for the morning/afternoon route package. Additional hours may be available through midday routes, field trips, and charters, and summer school routes may allow drivers to work year-round with school holiday breaks.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have held a valid driver's license for at least three years.
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Have good verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet students with a smile and positive attitude.
• Safely transport passengers.
• Assist students in the loading and unloading process.
