About The Position

First Student is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Greensboro, North Carolina. Drivers transport students safely between home and school, providing before-school pickups and afternoon drop-offs. The role has a split shift, with free hours between the morning and afternoon work periods, and guarantees four hours of work per school day. Additional hours may be available through trips and charters. The position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive role. English proficiency is required for training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have held a valid driver's license for at least three years.
• Have a CDL A or B with passenger and bus endorsements.
• Be proficient in English.
• Comply with DOT drug-testing requirements; DOT regulations do not authorize Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

Responsibilities

• Pick up students before school and transport them safely to school.
• Drop students off at home after school.
• Work a split shift with morning and afternoon periods.
• Participate in trips and charters when available for additional hours.
