About The Position

Alltown Bus Service is seeking Part-Time School Bus Drivers. This role offers a flexible weekday schedule with summers off and no nights, holidays, or weekends. We provide paid CDL training, so no experience is necessary. The starting pay is $25.00/hour, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for fully credentialed candidates with a CDL and Passenger and School Bus Endorsement. This is a rewarding job that allows you to make a difference in your community. School Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and activities, performing pre-trip inspections, ensuring child safety, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Conduct child checks after each route
• Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle
• Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
• Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
