About The Position

This is a Safety Sensitive Position that requires pre-employment drug testing and is subject to random drug testing and successful results for the duration of employment. The School Bus Driver III (Trainer) provides training to staff to become certified school bus drivers per Arizona rules and regulations. This role also performs driver evaluations, vehicle inspections, and road tests. A key responsibility is to maintain a database for tracking certification, physical examinations, and drug test results. Individual positions may be responsible for some or all of the listed duties and/or other related duties.

Requirements

Must be able to pass FBI and State background checks.
Valid Arizona CDL with passenger and S endorsement
Valid Arizona School Bus Instructor certification
Positions working directly with students must obtain CIT (Crisis Intervention Training), CPR, and First Aid certification
Defensive Driver Training program to be completed by all Agency personnel who drive on State business
Must pass post-offer physical
