About The Position

Rolling V Bus Corp. is hiring a School Bus Charter Driver to transport clients safely and on time from their pickup points to their destinations. The driver performs pre-trip inspections and post-route child checks, and keeps the vehicle compliant with DOT regulations. The role pays $28 per hour and may include weekend work.

Rolling V is a family-owned and managed full-service transportation company based in New York State’s Catskills region. It provides school bus and regional charter services and has delivered transportation services for more than 50 years.

Requirements

• Must have a CDL Class B with Passenger and School endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from destinations.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs, such as office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Interact professionally with clients.
• Ensure the vehicle is fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Keep mileage and repair records up to date.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and post-route child checks.
• Keep the vehicle within DOT regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
