About The Position

This role is an entry-level position that serves as the first step in a career pathway toward a degree, promotion, and leadership. The Behavior Specialist will use play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children build communication, social, and life skills within a school environment. The role involves bringing energy and compassion to each session, following personalized plans, and thriving in a flexible, on-the-go position. Success is measured by the progress of the children, the hope families feel, and the growth of the employee through paid training and career milestones. Requirements

H.S. Diploma or GED
Availability: Monday-Friday, 8:00-3:30 pm
At least 6 months' experience working with special needs in a school or related setting.
Current CPR certification preferred
Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID – CA mandated)
Reliable transportation
Comfort working with diverse populations
Willingness to complete training and documentation
Ability to frequently sit and stand; keeping pace with your client
