About The Position

Sage Connections is hiring a full-time W-2 Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services during the 2026–2027 school year. The role serves multiple school sites onsite and is scheduled Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week. The position runs ASAP through June 2027, with potential to renew. The therapist will provide services in accordance with students’ IEPs, evaluate students, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborate with school staff and families, document services, and participate in IEP meetings and student goal planning.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license.
• Knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and school-based therapy practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs.
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning.
