School Based BCBA
About The Position
Join Devereux as a school-based BCBA where you’ll make a meaningful impact, without working in isolation or dealing with unpredictable hours. This is a 10-month position with the option to work Extended School Year (ESY) in the summer. Devereux’s Center for Autism Education Services provides a range of supports designed to improve socially significant outcomes in schools and communities. We are a BCBA-led, interdisciplinary team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and psychologists dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based services. Grounded in compassionate, ethical practices, our work aims to move the field of applied behavior analysis forward while representing it with integrity and care.
Requirements
- Active BCBA certification (required)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral support to students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Train and support school staff on behavior strategies
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
