About The Position

Are you a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking to join a team of dedicated behavioral professionals? If so, join Devereux as a BCBA Consultant for schools in Maryland! This is a school-based position in Cecil County, Maryland, offering a 10-month work year aligned with school calendars. The role includes providing behavioral support to students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities. You will conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and implement behavior intervention plans, and train and support school staff on behavior strategies. Collaboration with educators and multidisciplinary teams is key to supporting student success. Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) is a comprehensive initiative comprising five specialized divisions focused on improving academic, behavioral, and emotional outcomes across educational settings.

Requirements

  • Active BCBA certification (required)
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
