Opening School Age Teacher 7a-11a
About The Position
Are you passionate about working with school-age children and looking for a schedule that offers flexibility throughout the day? Join our dedicated team at Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy of Southern HIlls, where we provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for kids to grow and thrive! This position could be part-time or full-time with an extended break. Ideally, we would like someone to do both shifts. The morning shift is from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and the afternoon shift is from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On non-school days, the shift is 9 or 10 hours with a 1-hour break. This schedule is perfect for students, parents, or anyone looking for a work/life balance!
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age to drive our vehicles and have a clean driving record
- Looking for an individual who is flexible, dependable, organized and who is over the top energetic!!
- Experience working with children (school-age preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing standards
- Energetic, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Nice To Haves
- early childhood coursework a plus!
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage school-age children before and after school
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and games
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Help with homework and foster social-emotional development
- Communicate with parents and school staff as needed
- Be willing to do other assignments and tasks given by our Management Team
