About The Position
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and experienced School Age Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of school-age children. This position is a split shift, offering before and after-school care, and is also available on MCPS off days.
Requirements
- Experience working with school-age children (ages 5–12)
- Ability to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
- Passion for supporting children's growth and development
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children during before and after-school programs
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
