About The Position

Cadence Education is seeking a School Age Teacher who is passionate about learning and dedicated to leading and supporting students’ ongoing development. The role works as part of a teaching team to create a positive learning environment and provide an engaging, challenging, and developmentally appropriate curriculum. The teacher develops lesson plans, supports students’ social and academic development, models positive behavior, maintains a clean and safe classroom, follows enhanced safety measures, and communicates regularly with parents.

The position is located in Surprise, Arizona. Cadence Education operates private preschools and elementary schools and describes its mission as creating bright futures for children, families, employees, and communities. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• High level of flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
• Ability to adhere to a consistent five-day-a-week schedule.
• Demonstrated professionalism and classroom management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience as an elementary teacher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans that provide what students need to build a strong foundation.
• Provide social interaction and developmentally appropriate skill-based activities to support students’ development.

• Adhere to enhanced safety measures.
• Communicate regularly with parents.
• Collaborate with teachers and leaders to implement an engaging, challenging, and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
