School Age Teacher
About The Position
Foundations Early Learning Center is hiring a School Age Teacher at its Anderson, South Carolina location. The teacher will help provide a safe, healthy, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can learn, play, and grow. The role supports children’s social and emotional development and fosters learning through STEAM activities and the Creative Curriculum. Teachers use the center’s app to communicate and build relationships with families. Foundations serves children from 6 weeks to 12 years through infant, toddler, preschool, Pre-K, school-age, and summer camp programs. Its classrooms use the nationally recognized Creative Curriculum with a focus on STEAM. The company’s vision is to empower children to realize their full potential, and its mission is to enrich children’s lives through meaningful, innovative early learning experiences. The position is based at 404 Lithium Lane, Anderson, South Carolina, 29621. The hourly pay range is $14–$16, determined by education and years of experience; pay may increase with continued education, performance, and years of service. The schedule is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Passion for working with young children.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
- Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
