The School Age Childcare (SACC) positions are 10-month opportunities that follow the school calendar year, from September through June. Employees have the option to extend their employment by working in the Summer Camp program during July and August, based on program enrollment and staffing needs. This flexible schedule allows for continued employment throughout the summer while supporting engaging programs for children year-round. The positions require maintaining 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years, a Tuberculosis (TB) Test and physician’s clearance to work in childcare, basic computer skills, strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to relate to diverse groups in the community. Additional trainings such as Child Abuse Prevention (for Supervisory Staff), CPR, First Aid, AED, and Blood-borne Pathogens must be completed within 30 days of hire.
