About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at our East Coldenham Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, possess energy, kindness, and patience, and enjoy encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The position requires teamwork, effective communication with families, and a commitment to providing exceptional care. This role is particularly suited for parents seeking a schedule aligned with the school day, education majors or future teachers, and retirees looking to stay active and mentor children. Success in this role is defined by program quality, effective staffing, compliance with regulations, and maintaining adequate inventory of supplies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
  • Maintain program quality that reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model.
  • Ensure the site is fully staffed every day.
  • Support teachers to be prepared and show up for the kids.
  • Operate the site in ratio at all times.
  • Ensure records are accurate and current.
  • Maintain an adequate stock of supplies and materials for teachers.
  • Restock supplies before they run out.
