About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at our East Coldenham Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, possess energy, kindness, and patience, and enjoy encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The position requires strong teamwork and effective communication with families. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and committed to providing exceptional care. This part-time, non-exempt position follows the school calendar with morning hours from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and afternoon hours from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. This role is particularly well-suited for parents seeking a schedule that aligns with the school day, education majors or future teachers looking for hands-on experience, and retirees who enjoy mentoring children. The position involves building relationships, supporting student growth, and being part of a mission-driven team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
  • Ensure the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model and families consistently choose to re-enroll.
  • Ensure the site is fully staffed every day with prepared and supported teachers.
  • Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
  • Maintain accurate and current records.
  • Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
  • Ensure the site is well-stocked with necessary supplies and materials.
  • Manage restocking of supplies before they run out.
