About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at the Netherwood Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt position follows the school calendar and offers opportunities for morning (7:00 am - 9:45 am), afternoon (3:30 pm - 6:30 pm), or both programs. The ideal candidate loves working with children, brings energy, kindness, and patience, enjoys encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence, and works well with teammates while communicating effectively with families. Reliability, organization, and a commitment to exceptional care are key. This role is well-suited for parents seeking a schedule that aligns with the school day, education majors or future teachers looking for hands-on experience, and retirees who enjoy staying active and mentoring children. The position involves ensuring program quality with engaged and safe children, maintaining adequate staffing with prepared teachers, ensuring compliance with ratios and regulations, and managing site inventory.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
  • Ensure the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model and families consistently choose to re-enroll.
  • Ensure the site is fully staffed every day with prepared and supported teachers.
  • Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
  • Ensure records are accurate and current.
  • Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
  • Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
  • Ensure restocking happens before it becomes a problem.
