About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at our East Coldenham Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, possess energy, kindness, and patience, and enjoy encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The position requires strong teamwork and effective communication with families, along with reliability, organization, and a commitment to providing exceptional care. This role is particularly well-suited for parents seeking a schedule that aligns with the school day, education majors or future teachers looking for hands-on experience, and retirees who enjoy mentoring children. The program focuses on ensuring children are engaged, safe, and having fun, while maintaining program quality, adequate staffing, compliance with regulations, and sufficient inventory of supplies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
• Ensure the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model and families consistently choose to re-enroll.
• Ensure the site is fully staffed every day with prepared and supported teachers.
• Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
• Ensure records are accurate and current.
• Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
• Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
• Ensure restocking happens before it becomes a problem.
