About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a part-time School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for its Before and After School Program at Mason Elementary School in Mason, New Hampshire, for the 2026–2027 school year. The program serves school-age children ages 5–12. The schedule follows the school calendar, with a morning program from 7:00 to 8:45 a.m. and an afternoon program from 3:15 to 6:00 p.m. Opportunities may be available for mornings, afternoons, or both. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

The supervisor facilitates activities from the Healthy Kids Curriculum, helps maintain a safe, healthy, and engaging environment, and supports program operations. The role is suited to someone who enjoys building relationships with children, supporting their growth, and collaborating with teammates and families. A required health clearance, including TB screening, must be completed in accordance with state regulations.

Requirements

• Meet one of the following education and experience options: a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of direct experience working with children under 13; a School-age Child Care Credential or other Office-recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period and one year of experience working with children under 13; or an associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
• Obtain required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Be physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities, as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
