About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School Age Childcare Site Supervisor for their After School Program at Lee F. Jackson Elementary School in White Plains, NY, for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves ensuring program quality, managing staffing, maintaining compliance, and overseeing inventory. The ideal candidate loves working with children, brings energy and patience, encourages curiosity and creativity, works well with teammates, and communicates effectively with families. This position is part-time and follows the school calendar, with afternoon hours from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
  • A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
  • Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
  • Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks.
  • Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.
  • Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
  • Ensure the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model.
  • Ensure the site is fully staffed every day.
  • Ensure teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
  • Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
  • Ensure records are accurate and current.
  • Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
  • Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
  • Ensure restocking happens before it becomes a problem.
