School Age Childcare Site Director - Before & After School
About The Position
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School Age Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Programs at our Bemus Point Elementary School in Bemus Point, NY location for the 2026–2027 school year. The Site Director is the heart of a Healthy Kids Programs location. You'll lead the daily operations of the site by creating a safe, engaging program that children love and families trust. You'll support and coach your team, build strong relationships with families and school partners, and ensure the program meets Healthy Kids Programs' quality standards and all licensing requirements. This role is for an energetic, organized leader who enjoys making a positive impact in children's lives every day.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must be medically cleared to perform all job duties and free of communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB).
- Demonstrates a positive, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with children, parents, and team members.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance.
- Able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working with children.

Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the site.

- Ensure teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
- Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
- Ensure records are accurate and current.
- Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
- Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
- Ensure restocking happens before it becomes a problem.
