About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School Age Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Programs at Parkview Preschool in Collingswood, NJ. The Site Director leads daily operations, creating a safe and engaging program. This role involves supporting and coaching the team, building relationships with families and school partners, and ensuring the program meets quality standards and licensing requirements. The ideal candidate is an energetic, organized leader who enjoys making a positive impact on children's lives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting.
• 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.
• Focus on results, not excuses.
• Purpose driven.
• Motivating, positivity, leadership.
• Empathy, professionalism, G-rated work environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus.
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the site.
• Create a safe, engaging program that children love and families trust.
• Support and coach the team.
• Build strong relationships with families and school partners.
• Ensure the program meets Healthy Kids Programs' quality standards and all licensing requirements.
• Ensure kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
• Ensure the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model and families consistently choose to re-enroll.
• Ensure the site is fully staffed every day.
• Ensure teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
• Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
• Ensure records are accurate and current.
• Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
• Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
• Ensure restocking happens before it becomes a problem.
