About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School Age Childcare Site Directors for our Before and After School Programs at our Mannington Township School in Mannington, NJ and our Elsinboro Township School in Salem, NJ locations for the 2026–2027 school year. The Site Director is the heart of a Healthy Kids Programs location. You'll lead the daily operations of the site by creating a safe, engaging program that children love and families trust. You'll support and coach your team, build strong relationships with families and school partners, and ensure the program meets Healthy Kids Programs' quality standards and all licensing requirements. Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus.
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required.
• Some college or early childhood coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the site by creating a safe, engaging program that children love and families trust.
• Support and coach your team.
• Build strong relationships with families and school partners.
• Ensure the program meets Healthy Kids Programs' quality standards and all licensing requirements.
• Ensure the site is fully staffed every day.
• Ensure teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
• Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
• Ensure records are accurate and current.
• Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
• Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
• Restock supplies before they run out.
