About The Position

The YMCA is looking for a dynamic and passionate School Age Child Care Site Supervisor to lead a team and make a big impact in the lives of children. This role involves overseeing and coordinating licensed child care programs that are safe, fun, and engaging for kids, ensuring programs meet all YMCA policies, state licensing, and accreditation requirements. The supervisor will facilitate fun, social, and interactive activities, adapting them to meet each child's needs. Requirements

Must be 18 years old with Highschool Diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in administration and guiding staff.
At least 6 months of experience in child care.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong initiative.
Ability to provide clear guidance to a diverse team.
Understanding of how to effectively work with children.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Familiarity with state licensing and accreditation rules.
