About The Position
The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is seeking a School Age Child Care (SACC) Group Leader to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids can learn, grow, and thrive. This role is part of a team that strengthens communities and empowers youth. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to maintain visual and auditory awareness of children.
Nice To Haves
- Previous childcare experience preferred.
- Completion of required pre-service training (provided).
Responsibilities
- Guide children through exciting activities, games, arts, and homework help.
- Build positive relationships with children and families.
- Maintain a secure and welcoming space, following all safety procedures.
- Serve as a role model by demonstrating patience, creativity, and enthusiasm.
- Promote positive youth development.
