About The Position

This role is responsible for scheduling inspections and demand service calls. The individual will be the first point of contact for service calls, gathering necessary information, creating service orders, assigning technicians, and ordering parts. The role also involves providing inside support to the service manager, updating customer information, coordinating with subcontractors, and creating purchase order requests.

Requirements

  • High School Education or Equivalent.
  • Typing, basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Call/email customers to schedule inspections and put notes in the system pertaining to inspection.
  • Schedule sub-labor for all repair quotes sold by sales staff.
  • Add new customers for inspections.
  • Create Opportunities for sales leads.
  • Handle Penny quotes to set up demand service inspections or annual portable inspections.
  • Perform COD Calcs with the spreadsheet provided.
  • Send Email Reminders.
  • Upload Compliance Engine for inspection and deficiencies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for service calls.
  • Gather needed information to create a service call including a photo of the troubled panel.
  • Provide credit applications to new customers/quote C.O.D. rates for service calls.
  • Create service orders.
  • Assign the correct technician.
  • Place service orders on the Resource Console and Dispatch to the tech.
  • Order any needed parts and get them pulled from the parts shelf.
  • Provide inside support to the service manager.
  • Update customer information as needed in the system.
  • Coordinate work with subcontractors as needed.
  • Create P.O.’s requests as needed.
