About The Position

Performs secretarial, clerical, and administrative functions for the Clinic Director and professional staff. Maintains the patient schedule database.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
  • Assumes responsibility for the scheduling of department-based procedures by following established procedure.
  • Schedules patients in a timely manner when received from Physicians and their offices
  • Confirms with Physicians and their offices, the time and date of the procedures
  • Informs departmental leadership of scheduling conflicts and works to solve conflicts in a positive manner.
  • Maintains information system(s) related to assigned scope of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
