Securitas is looking for an experienced Scheduling Project Manager to join their Abilene team. This role serves as the operational hub for the security program, ensuring all shifts are covered, staffing levels are optimized, and staff have the necessary information to succeed. The ideal candidate enjoys fast-paced work, solving scheduling challenges, and being a reliable point of contact.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Advanced computer and technology skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs
  • Strong reliability, accountability, punctuality, and work ethic
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals in office and field settings
  • Ability to conduct patrols throughout the shift
  • Comfort performing access control duties
  • Willingness to become a subject matter expert in proprietary company and client software
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • At least 2 years of related experience in payroll, data entry, dispatching, or management

Responsibilities

  • Manage, establish, maintain, and review schedules for a large Securitas contract in the Abilene area.
  • Support accurate and timely payroll completion through daily, weekly, and ongoing tasks.
  • Assist with shared service functions, including billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  • Match available staff to a wide range of posts and communicate schedule changes to stakeholders.
  • Communicate all scheduling changes directly with staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with the District Manager, Account Manager, and Supervisors to minimize overtime.
  • Contact and re-deploy staff to fill call-offs and last-minute openings.
  • Respond quickly to rapid schedule shifts and client requests.
  • Use automated resource systems and proprietary scheduling tools to manage staffing.
  • Support field operations as needed, including patrols and access control duties.
