Requirements

  • Strong foundation in project controls and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Must have experience with self-performing construction activities for heavy infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience with Primavera Scheduling Software (P6).
  • Worked on Client side (governmental/city agencies)
  • Experience in initiation program phase (planning)
  • Master schedule development
  • Interface schedule development
  • Involved in CIP Preparation
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Costpoint ERP, Deltek Cobra, Cognos, Oracle EPM experience desired
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies is preferred
  • EVM Tools experience
  • PSP, PMI-SP, or equivalent scheduling certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules, primarily using Primavera P6
  • Establish and monitor cost control baselines and budgets for complex projects
  • Perform earned value analysis, variance analysis, and forecasting for both cost and schedule performance
  • Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and performance updates for internal leadership and client stakeholders
  • Partner with project managers, discipline leads, and finance teams to align scope, schedule, and budget
  • Support risk identification, mitigation planning, and what-if schedule/cost analysis
  • Assist with change management, including evaluation of change orders and analysis of schedule and cost impacts
  • Contribute to claims support and time-impact analyses as needed
