About The Position

The Scheduling Director & Dive Equipment Manager shall be responsible for providing boat party support during CSAR maritime open water training operations as boat operator in support of the 212 RQS Guardian Angel Support Services contract.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with international diving organizations' guidelines (e.g., IMCA, ADCI, ABS, DMV)
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in managing and controlling diving equipment on a military installation.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Strong knowledge of diving equipment, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum five (5) years’ work experience as a manager or superintendent.
  • Proven experience in diving equipment management, preferably in the offshore or marine industry.
  • Previous diving or technician experience is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, track and repair assigned GA Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) and water operations equipment. This includes but is not limited to: SCUBA equipment, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment, SONAR, lift bags, and all associated dive locker equipment in the most economical way possible based on available facilities and extent of repairs required.
  • Maintain an accurate 212 RQS schedule to include daily updates to PEX and other scheduling software to reflect schedule and Aircrew members’ status.
  • Log all dives in the Air Force Dive Jump Reporting System (DJRS).
  • Maintain Precision Measuring Equipment Listing (PMEL) equipment for the SCUBA section.
  • Other duties as assigned
