Summary In this position, the Scheduling and Customer Service Associate will be responsible for all aspects production scheduling and external customer service. Will be front line contact for all scheduling and customer service topics to intracompany and external customers. Will foster a cooperative relationship with other key stakeholders such as production, quality, R&D, and technical services.

  • A combination of at least 5 years of experience, customer service, production scheduling, order management, logistics, in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • English language required
  • Experience using an ERP or manufacturing planning system; JD Edwards experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to operate in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of monofilament industry experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Associates degree in a business related field is preferred, although an acceptable level of training and work experience is considered

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill role of primary point of contact for customer interactions and respond promptly to customer concerns and inquires
  • Manage customer orders from entry through production, shipment, and final closure
  • Develop and maintain the production schedule based on customer demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory, and material availability.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust daily schedules as needed to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with Materials, Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics to support on-time delivery
  • Identify potential supply interruptions and develop risk-mitigation or contingency plans
  • Proactively communicate schedule changes, delays, and delivery risks to customers and internal stakeholders
