About The Position

Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing facility located in Columbus, Indiana. Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate scheduling coordinator to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care to our residents. The Scheduling Coordinator will prepare and maintain schedules and records for nursing department staff, ensure staffing coverage is maintained, replace staff call-ins and call-offs, schedule requested days off, vacations, and sick time under the direction and approval of the Director of Nursing. This role also involves coordinating records of absenteeism, requests, and schedules with the DON and Payroll department, maintaining constant communication with the DON, and performing nursing floor duties as allowed.

Requirements

Qualified Medical Aide or Certified Nurse Assistant in the state of Indiana.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain schedules and records for nursing department staff
Ensure staffing coverage is maintained
Replace staff call-ins and call-offs
Schedule requested days off, vacations, sick time, etc., under the direction and approval of Director of Nursing
Coordinate records of absenteeism, requests, schedules, etc. with DON and Payroll depart.
Maintain communication with DON at all times about all areas
Nursing floor duties as allowed
